Kalau tidak ditangkap, boleh jadi polisi tunduk ke Yobel Lengkey,&#8221; beber salah satu saksi di lokasi Tumalinting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pertambangan Emas Tanpa Ijin (PETI), di Kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara masuk di lahan perkebunan Tumalinting, Ratatotok Satu, wilayah kecamatan Ratatotok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aktifitas ini praktis tidak bisa dicegah Kepala Desa, Camat, bahkan Bupati. Bahkan muncul dugaan ada oknum di pemerintahan dan kepolisian yang mem <em>back up<\/em> pelaku PETI di lokasi itu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kegiatan ilegal tersebut memicu kerusakan hutan yang terus meluas bahkan mengancam nyawa masyarakat sekitar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ancaman yang paling nyata adalah potensi banjir bandang, tanah longsor di musim hujan dan krisis air bersih di musim kemarau termasuk pencemaran zat-zat kimia yang meluncur dari buangan air rendaman emas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Pada prinsipnya, polisi hilang wibawa. Masyarakat boleh memutus police line yang merupakan simbol kekuasaan aparat penegak hukum.
